Voor de 14e keer faciliteren wij de landelijke themazondag Christen-zijn op je werk. Zoals bekend is die altijd op de eerste zondag na Dankdag voor Gewas en Arbeid, dit jaar op 5 november. We hopen dat veel kerken, parochies en gemeenten hieraan weer meedoen. Dat kan heel gemakkelijk wanneer je de hulpmiddelen op de website www.christenzijnopjewerk.nl gebruikt. Preekroosters liggen vaak al ver van tevoren vast, dus ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ด ๐ป๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ท๐ผ๐๐ ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐ผ๐บ ๐ต๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ป ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐๐ฒ ๐ฑ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ป. Ministry organizations and church leaders from a broad segment of the global church are uniting around the 2033 Commitment:
A Call to the Global Church for a Decade of Great Commission Effort. They are calling for Christians from around the world to recognize the need for Jesus Christ of the over 8 billion individuals on earth, including the 3.5 billion who have never had the chance to hear the gospel.
The 2033 Commitment will be a centerpiece of the Amsterdam2023 conference, to be held June 21-24 at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Center and Olympic Stadium.
With over 150 speakers and thousands of Christian leaders from around the world, Amsterdam2023 will serve as a launch point for the decade of evangelism leading up to 2033.

Molly Worthen, professor of history at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is no stranger to evangelicalism. She has long chronicled our history, with a well-received book and periodic commentary appearing in the pages of The New York Times. But last August something changed. “I became a Christian,” Worthen says.
It’s hard to summarize this wide-ranging, 90-minute conversation between Collin Hansen and Molly Worthen, but here are some things you may take away from this:
- The importance of friendship in the context of evangelism
- The usefulness of books in exploring deeper questions about the Christian faith—and the way fiction (even science fiction!) can communicate truth
- The role of the local church in commending the truths of the gospel through its worship, preaching, and ordinances The need to take intellectual questions seriously and give honest, thoughtful answers
- The simplicity of faith in the Lord Jesus, even for a well-regarded and accomplished academic
