The Atheist Delusion

From Living Waters, creators of the award-winning TV program the “Way of the Master” and the hit movies “180” and “Evolution vs. God,” comes the powerful film “The Atheist Delusion.” Executive produced by TV co-host and best-selling author Ray Comfort (Hell’s Best Kept Secret, Scientific Facts in the Bible).

Having to prove the existence of God to an atheist is like having to prove the existence of the sun, at noon on a clear day. Yet millions are embracing the foolishness of atheism. “The Atheist Delusion” pulls back the curtain and reveals what is going on in the mind of those who deny the obvious. It introduces you to number of atheists who you will follow as they go where the evidence leads, find a roadblock, and enter into a place of honesty that is rarely seen on film.

Sex workers special guests at FEBA

CE Stories of Hope

Sex workers special guests

On Valentine's Day in 2019, FEBA  (Far East Broadcasting Association) Philippines' radio station in Davao, DXFE, celebrated its anniversary with unusual guests—a group of sex workers. "The Lord placed them on my heart," recalled Magnolia, the station manager. "He impressed upon me that these prostitutes must feel so excluded, especially on Valentine's Day."

The team invited a group of these women as special guests and encouraged listeners to donate clothes, makeup, and other gifts. They hosted a special dinner, gave them roses and Bibles, and shared the story of Rahab, the courageous prostitute of Jericho who saved two Hebrew scouts and became an ancestor of Jesus.

This was the beginning of the Blessing Rahab program.

There are more than 4,000 registered sex workers in the city of Davao. Due to limited resources, the Blessing Rahab team focuses its ministry on just one street in the city, where they invite 20-30 women to attend seminars. Here, they learn skills such as meat processing or making herbal oils and ointments, which can help them earn a living in a different way. The practical approach is only one aspect of these gatherings.

"We hand out Bibles and share Jesus' love with them in tangible ways," says Magnolia. "We also pray with them and encourage them to share their burdens and problems with us. We make no promises that we can solve their problems, but we offer them a shoulder to cry on and a sympathetic ear. More importantly, we point them to Jesus. We make it a priority to help them understand that Jesus' love is inclusive."

Although Blessing Rahab does not have a dedicated radio program, it is discussed during other broadcasts. The team invites listeners to participate in the program by donating their time and resources without prejudice, and they are welcome to attend special events featuring the Blessing Rahab women as guests.

Since launching the Blessing Rahab program, Magnolia says, they have learned to love people unconditionally. "At first, we were shocked by how they spoke, how they behaved, and how they dressed, but we learned to love them and (literally) embrace them. We cry with them and hold their hands like sisters."

The team's efforts have made an impact on the Blessing Rahab women. One of them shared: "In their eyes, we are people, not trash. They pray for me to be a good person and for my companions as well. They help you, give advice, check in to see how you are doing and whether you have any problems, and provide support. Many thanks to DXFE radio station, for providing for us and helping me."

When I read this touching story, it reminded me of a song by Steve Camp:

Don't Tell Them Jesus Loves Them

Oh, the suffering souls
Crying out for love
In a world that seldom cares
See the hungry hearts
Longing to be filled
Much more than our prayers
And a young girl sells herself
On Seventh Avenue
And you hear her crying out for help
"My God, what will we do?"

Don't tell them Jesus loves them
Till you're ready to love them too
Till your heart breaks from the sorrow
And the pain they're going through
With a life full of compassion
May we do what we must do
Don't tell them Jesus loves them
Till you're ready to love them too

And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.” John 8:11

News from Rehan 2025-05

 Report from Rehan

Greetings and Shalom in the name of the Sovereign Lord.

John 20:21

As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.

BOTH SENDING AND GOING ARE IMPORTANT.

Sending and going are both important, as the Bible says in Romans 10:13-15. This is how the Body of Christ works. They call on the Body to function together for one purpose: to share the Gospel with those who are not yet part of God's family and disciples those who are part of the family. If one person plants the seed and another person provides it, they will both benefit from the harvest. Some people can go, but others can send.

Because God wants us to serve him, we are ready to go. We are very joyful that you are helping us with our work in Pakistan. God has been very gracious, and I want to share some Praise report with you.

Refuting Arabic Mindset. English.

Online Discipleship class.

We have started the discipleship classes with our four new believers and meet once a week. From the start of May, we will look at the Gospel of John.

Pakistan Trip:

We had a great time in Pakistan in January and will be going back in June. A group of 43 Pakistani Christians learned how to share their faith with Muslims. Both Responder Ashfaq and Muhammad Zubair helped me and learning how to use media more effectively.

Testimony: Pastor Sahil Abbas.

I had done a 3-year diploma in Biblical Theology, but I was not given the opportunity to ask questions or encourage others to teach. Here, in the very first seminar, I felt very comfortable and realized that becoming a facilitator was possible and the best way to serve others and reach out to Muslims.

Testimony: Rabecca Waqas.

It was a great opportunity for me to share what was on my heart and also to learn from other members through their experiences. This was a unique method because learning through discussion, Parable, stories and real-life application makes the process enjoyable and meaningful compared to passive listening. Illustration, parable & stories booklet is very contextualized and good way to help Muslims to know the truth here in Pakistan.

A thank you message.

We are very grateful to God for letting us serve Him. We are also thankful for your prayers and the financial support.

Prayer Request:

1: Please pray for the safety of our new believers as they go out and try to share the Gospel with others.

2: Ask God to help our responders, Ashfaq and Zubair, to show love and wisdom to Muslims in their conversation.

3: Please pray for me while I am busy writing a book on how to help people with an Arabic mindset to see the truth.

I've attached some pictures.

Many Blessings

Rehan
